Best Racehorses are Female According to the latest Official World Rankings issued today the top two racehorses in the world are both female. Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Treve and the recently retired Australian mare Black Caviar top the current Longines World's Best Race Horse Rankings covering the period from January 1st to October 6th. Treve's scintillating performance in Paris has elevated the star 3-y-o Filly to a Ranking of 130. This places her equal first in the current Rankings with Black Caviar. The only Irish trained or bred horse to make the latest Top 10 is Qipco 2000 Guineas and St. James Palace Stakes winner Dawn Approach with a Ranking of 125.
