Between Friends brought up a double for leading owner JP McManus when keeping on best to win the Lily & Wild Mares Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown.

Sent off 5/1 under Aidan Kelly, the Enda Bolger trained six-year-old headed Latopix at the final flight and, found plenty on the run-in to score by two-and-three-quarter lengths.

Frank Berry, Racing Manager reported: "She had a bit of experience in handicaps which meant a lot to her. She jumped well and, Aidan gave her a lovely ride. Delighted to get a win out of her and, she'll tip away there with a bit of easy ground for the summer."
