Willie Mullins completed a big race double on the opening day of the Limerick Christmas meeting when successful with Financial Reward and Quiscover Fontaine
Financial Reward (11/2-9/2) quickened up between the final two fences to beat 100/30 favourite Top Of The Rock by three and a half lengths in the Grade 2 Guinness Greenmount Park Novice Chase.
Winning rider David Casey said, 'He jumped and travelled well and idled a bit after hitting the front. I probably got there a bit too soon and the ground is very holding.'
Quiscover Fontaine just got up in the final strides to touch off the front-running Alpine Eagle in the Sporting Limerick Hurdle.
