Bio aiming to prove class act at Fairyhouse Gavin Cromwell is hoping class will see Bioluminescence through in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Colreevy Mare Novice Chase at Fairyhouse on Saturday. The Walk In The Park mare has to give her four rivals a chunk of weight in the Listed contest as she carries a 10lb penalty for her Grade 2 success at Limerick over Christmas. She established herself as a leading contender for the Mares Chase at Cheltenham with a fine effort to chase home Dancing City at Naas last month. This two-mile-five event wasn’t originally on her agenda but plans changed after a shift in venue. “It wasn’t the plan until it was rescheduled to Fairyhouse. She was never going to be running in Thurles on nice ground,” said Cromwell. “She has a 10lb penalty which is obviously a big burden to carry but she’s a big mare and would be a good mare to carry weight. “Hopefully she has the class and the more rain that falls the better for her too.”
