Henry De Bromhead saddled the top two in the weights for Cork's featured Co-Op Superstores Handicap Steeplechase, over two and a quarter miles, and they duly outclassed their rivals to provide the Knockeen handler with a one-two.

Harry Cobden's mount in the J.P, McManus silks was Birdie Or Bust and the daughter of Walk In The Park put in a good round of jumping to land the spoils. In front from the fourth, Cobden's mound was very good over the three fences in the home straight and defeated the Darragh O'Keeffe-ridden Jasko Des Dames , sent off the 3/1 favourite, by three-parts of a length.

"She jumped great, Harry gave her a super ride and it is lovely to get a winner for the McManuses,” said De Bromhead. .

“It's Harry's first winner for me and he is a big part of McManus team now, so I'm delighted.

"She is a decent mare on her day, but we got her trip wrong the last day, as she likes 2m to 2m2f and likes that ground as well.

"Jasko Des Dames ran well but pecked on landing after the third-last and Darragh said he slipped, which didn't help him."
