Rachael Blackmore enjoyed a wide-margin victory on board Kamil in the two mile seven beginners' chase at Ballinrobe - her first ride for trainer Noel Meade.

Kamil took over at the fourth fence and strode along at the front under Blackmore. The pair were clear by the third last as the opposition toiled in behind.

The 3/1 favourite kept up the gallop to come home by 11 lengths from Bang Bang Rosie (10/3) who made a mistake at the last. Ballybrowney Jack was half a length further back in third.

Rachael Blackmore said: "His jumping fell apart a little bit in the middle part of the race but I'm just delighted to ride a winner for Noel Meade — it's a great privilege."
