Bold Enough made it two from two over fences with a cosy win in the Castlerea Novice Chase at Roscommon this afternoon.

The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding was an impressive winner on his chase debut at Wexford last month and repeated the dose.

Hugh Morgan took the mount this time and tracked the leaders on the 11/8 favourite in the two-mile contest.

He jumped to the front over the third last and asserted down to the final fence to record a convincing eight-length success over Star Max

Morgan said afterwards:- “He jumped and travelled great. He just had one mistake, at the first down the back, but other than that he was foot perfect.

“I'm delighted to be given the opportunity on a nice horse like him. His form is good and he did it nicely in Wexford as well. It's brilliant for the owner too, it keeps his good run going.”
