The Aidan O'Brien-trained Boogie Woogie gained a deserved win when powering clear in the closing stages to land the ten furlong fillies maiden at Naas.

The Dubawi filly had been placed on her three previous outings, including when second on her return at Leopardstown last month.

She went to post a 1/2 shot this evening and bounced out to make the running under Ryan Moore.

80/1 shot Fiver Friday threw down a challenge two furlongs from home but couldn't live with the hotpot in the closing stages as she asserted to win by five-and-a-half lengths. Scarlett O'Hara stayed on to prevail in a bunch finish for the runner-up spot.

O’Brien said:- “She was green the first day and got beaten three times last year but we always liked her.

“The plan was to come here and if everything went well she might go for the Oaks Trial at Lingfield. It would be a good education for her and she’d learn plenty there.”
