The Charles O'Brien-trained gelding hinted his turn was near with a couple of fine efforts at Navan and Leopardstown and shed his maiden tag in style in last month's valuable Down Royal feature. The County Kildare-based trainer admits finding similarly lucrative opportunities is proving tough, but the Children Under 18 Free Everyday At Fairyhouse Rated Race on Sunday is likely to be his next port of call. "It was a nice prize to win in Down Royal and we were delighted with him," said O'Brien. "He's not the easiest horse to place, but there is a three-year-old-only conditions race at Fairyhouse on Sunday he's entered in and he could well turn out there."
