Boy Dandy for a comeback David Marnane's Dubai Carnival winner Dandy Boy is approaching a comeback run as the trainer considers potential international options. A winner of the Victoria Cup last year, the gelding took a valuable handicap in the Gulf in January and has been absent since a subsequent run in February. "Dandy's in great form and he's due to come back in a six-furlong Group Three race at the Curragh (www.thetote.com Renaissance Stakes on September 11)," said Marnane. "After that, he'll probably go for another race at the Curragh or the Concorde Stakes at Tipperary. "If everything goes well, we could even think about Hong Kong later in the year, but we'll see what happens."
