Boylesports extend Irish National sponsorship Boylesports announced today that they will continue to sponsor the Irish Grand National for the next two years. The leading Irish independent bookmaking firm have increased the prize-fund for the Fairyhouse showpiece by ten per cent, and the €275,000 Boylesports Irish Grand National of 2015 will take place on it's traditional date of Easter Monday, April 6. Boylesports took over sponsorship of Ireland's most valuable jumps race this year, and Chief Executive John Boyle said, "We are delighted to extend our Irish Grand National sponsorship at Fairyhouse for the next two years and be associated with Ireland's most valuable jumps race. "With the sponsorship extension of the Irish Grand National and the Irish Greyhound Derby, Boylesports are privileged to be associated with the two most prestigious and valuable events in the Irish sporting calendar." An attendance of over 16,000 witnessed local rider Barry Geraghty partner Shutthefrontdoor, trained by Jonjo O'Neill for JP McManus, to success in the 2014 renewal, while the legendary Arkle is among an illustrious list of past winners.
