Bravo Team made it a Down Royal treble for Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy, and a double for owners Pioneer Racing, when winning the extended two and a half mile handicap hurdle.

The six-year-old gelding travelled to lead after three out and stayed on well on the run-in to score by eight lengths at 7/2. Guiri the 2/1 favourite, could make no impression in second. He was five and a half lengths clear of Turbojet (10/3) who attempted to make all but jumped left throughout.

Elliott said: "He loved that ground and he jumped well. Jack was very happy with him.

"We'll probably take our time with him.

"This is a lucky track for us."

The first leg of the treble was Pioneer Racing's Shesadream in the opener, quickly followed by Banks Boy in race two.
