Breaker Storms to victory for Lambe at Hexham Storm Breaker for trainer James Lambe and jockey Brian Hughes lead home an Irish trained one, two in Hadrian Health Care Handicap Hurdle at Hexham this afternoon. Only two horses finished in the seven runner contest over 2m 4f, with the Mark McNiff trained Whisky Galore a distance back in second. The winner had two successes to his name before today both of which came way back in '07 on just his second and fourth starts at Wexford and Downpatrick on the level. On what was his thirty second start since his last win, the 9yo (who ran as a 2yo in colours Mrs John Magnier for Aidan O’Brien) never gave his supporters a worry as he race to an easy victory at the odds of 7/1. This was the winning son of Sadler's Wells second start for Lambe, having come from the yard of Homer Scott.
