Breeders' Cup the target for Abbaye third She's Quality Jack Davison sent out Thunderbear to win the Listed sprint at Naas yesterday and afterwards had news of his Prix de l'Abbaye third She’s Quality. The Acclamation filly, a Listed winner at Tipperary last year and runner-up four times in a row in Group 2/3 company in England this summer, followed up her creditable fourth in the Flying Five at the Curragh with another fine run at the highest level on last Sunday's Prix de l'Arc card in Paris. “She has an unbelievable constitution," said Davison. "We weighed her yesterday and she was 524 kilos and leaving for France she was 525 kilos. “We are hoping to go to California with her for the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint and that gave me peace of mind that the long season and travelling is not catching up with her at all. It was a super run at Longchamp. “Her best conditions are fast ground and I’m also looking forward to next year if California doesn’t happen. “The paperwork and logistics are well under way and it’s just a question of whether we are going to get into the race. “I’m hopeful and I'm told that we have a good chance of qualifying for the race. I’d be fancying our chances if we do go there.” Additional reporting by Alan Magee
