Brett set for six-week absence Tom Brett is set to be on the sidelines for about six weeks after he was injured in a fall at Punchestown on Saturday. The amateur rider sustained a partially collapsed lung, two fractured ribs and a fractured fibula when his mount Shine In Dubai stumbled four furlongs from home in a two-mile bumper. "He's stable and fine this morning," said Irish Turf Club senior medical officer Dr Adrian McGoldrick. "He'll be in hospital for three days and out of action for six weeks."
