Brighterdaysahead set to go over fences this season Brighterdaysahead, a wide-margin winner of the Neville Hotels Hurdle at Leopardstown last Christmas before disappointing in the Champion Hurdle and at Punchestown, is on course to make her chasing debut soon according to trainer Gordon Elliott. The Cullentra handler spoke to Racing TV at Navan on Wednesday and said of the Kapgarde six-year-old who has won three times at Grade 1 level: "She will either run at Down Royal at the end of the month or Navan two weeks later. I'll be shocked if it's not one of those two.  "She's in good form and well and we're going jumping fences. "She's jumped the double-size Easyfix jumps at home which are good enough. Just the way the ground has been, we haven't got to jump her on grass but there'll be plenty of time for that. "I'm looking forward to her going chasing and she'll be getting the mares' allowance. She's a very good mare. "I don't think she was ever right after Leopardstown. That race took its toll on her for the season. We'd a couple of little issues with her but we think we've them all ironed out now and we're really looking forward to getting her going again."
