Bristol makes all to win Scilly Isles Bristol De Mai made every yard of the running to land his first Grade One over fences in the Betfred TV Scilly Isles Novices' Chase at Sandown. Nigel Twiston-Davies' grey came into the race on the back of an impressive Haydock success and jumped economically in front for Daryl Jacob. Tea For Two and As De Mee kept close attendance on Bristol De Mai, but the 10-11 favourite got away from the Pond fence much the best and kept a remorseless gallop all the way up the straight. As De Mee won out in the battle for second place, but was six lengths down at the line. Jacob said: "I think you can put him where you want to (in a race) now. The more racing he is getting, the better he is getting. "He's only a young horse and there's lots to look forward to." Bristol De Mai is owned by Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, and the former said: "I think that was his seventh run and he seems to be getting better and better with every run. "The JLT will now be his target." Len Jakeman, joint-owner of Tea For Two, said: "The plan after today was to go to the Pendil at Kempton at the end of the month, but he is also in the BetBright Chase on the basis of if Mr Mullins brings across some of his superstars. "I'll leave it to Jane and Nick (Williams) as after today they might well have a rethink. "He probably won't go to Cheltenham, as he is such a funny horse. We can't go across to Punchestown as that would blow his mind. "Everybody keeps telling me he is only good going right-handed, but he has run some good races left-handed. "Whether it was the ground or not today, I'm not sure, but he pinged them all down the back and he ran like a three-miler."
