The Grade B Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle at Naas on November 12th is next on the agenda for the progressive King Kal.

An easy winner on his fourth start over flights at Downpatrick in August, the Colm Murphy trained six-year-old followed-up in style on his handicap debut at Punchestown.

While given an initial mark of 105, he went up 14lb for his latest success.

Speaking at Wexford on Monday, Murphy, who won the Brown Lad 12-months ago with Aldo The Apache, said: "He is in good form and all going well he will head to Naas on Saturday week for the Brown Lad.

"Hopefully he will sneak in there down the bottom of the weights. He seems to be improving and when horses improve like he has, God knows where they could end up."
