Buck House plan for Dear Exciting mare Listen Dear could take on the boys in the Buck House Novice Chase at Punchestown next week. The Willie Mullins-trained six-year-old bolted up in a Grade Three novice hurdle at Down Royal last October and while that proved to be her final start of the season, she returned to the County Antrim circuit to make a winning comeback in June. The point-to-point graduate could hardly have been more impressive on her chasing debut at Ballinrobe last month and connections are now eyeing a possible step up in class on Thursday week. Steve Massey, racing manager for the owners the Supreme Horse Racing Club, said: "She is in great order after her excellent start over fences where she attacked her obstacles and jumped really well. "She's not over-big, but she's very strong. "A lot of work has been done to improve the mares' programme, however, there's still work to do as there is no Graded mares' chase for her until Cork on December 11. "With this in mind, we will have to take on the boys and it looks like the Buck House Novice Chase at Punchestown will be her next outing. "She's an exciting prospect in her own division and we will also look at races in the UK. "As always, we'll leave it to Willie to pick the right race for her."
