William Buick is to renew his association with LIbertarian in Saturday's Ladbrokes St Leger after the withdrawal of Feel Like Dancing at the overnight declaration stage.

The John Gosden-trained colt's absence, along with those of Eye of the Storm and London Bridge, means that 11 horses will go to post for the oldest Classic.

Joseph O'Brien rides Queen's Vase winner Leading Light for his father, Aidan, with Ryan Moore jocked up on stablemate Foundry.

Galileo Rock, placed in both the English and Irish Derbies, currently heads the betting at 7/2 with Sky Bet, alongside Excess Knowledge.

The David Wachman-trained colt will be trying to make it third-time lucky after taking third spot behind Ruler Of The World at Epsom, and was second to Trading Leather at the Curragh.

Excess Knowledge, now Gosden's sole representative in the contest, finished second in the Gordon Stakes last time out. He will be ridden by owner Khalid Abdullah's recently-appointed retained jockey James Doyle.

As well as sending out Libertarian to make his debut for the yard, rookie Godolphin trainer Charlie Appleby is responsible for Cap O'Rushes. The Gordon Stakes winner is the mount of Mickael Barzalona, who was victorious 12 months ago on Encke.

Godolphin have a third Leger contender in Secret Number from Saeed bin Suroor's stable.

The only filly in the field is Investec Oaks heroine Talent, trained by Ralph Beckett, while the Brian Meehan-trained Great Hall, Andrew Balding's Havana Beat and Ralston Road, trained by Pat Shanahan, complete the line-up.
