Burke finds the Dosh

Davy Russell who has been out of action since Punchestown with a knee problem made it a winning return when Where’s The Dosh took the Kelly Brothers Farm Modernisation LTD Handicap Hurdle.

Liam Burkes charge came with a well timed run to lead just on the run-in and score by a neck.

Winning trainer Burke said afterwards: “I was a bit worried down the back as he was a little too far back.”

“He was travelling well when he was brought down at Punchestown but he then he ran a stinker in Limerick, he didn’t handle the heavy ground.”

“He obviously likes the better ground and his aim now is for the two mile five furlong handicap hurdle in Galway.”
