The Magna Grecia colt had been well beaten on his debut at Naas in September and having been as big as 66/1 this morning he eventually went to post a 14/1 shot. Nicola Burns produced him to challenge inside the final furlong and he just had his head in front at the post to pip My Cubby Bear by a short-head. Burns said: "His last run was on soft ground and they kind of knew he didn't like it. He's a lovely-moving horse and I knew he would move well on it (Polytrack), and he came home very strong.
