Busy spell no problem for course specialist Step Back In Time After her sixth placing in the 6.25 at Fairyhouse last evening Step Back In Time turned out fresh and well to land the Navan Handicap this afternoon. Continuing her love affair with the County Meath venue, the Footstepsinthesand mare gained her third Proudstown Park sprinting success by a length and three parts in the hands of Rory Cleary. Whatswrongnow filled the runner-up berth. Said winning trainer Chris Timmons: "It certainly seems so (horses for courses), she likes this place. "She didn't run badly last night (sixth in Fairyhouse) and licked the pot this morning. We were keen to try going round a bend and I don't think she likes being crowded. "I think so (go for straight sprints), we might stick to Navan if possible. It is not too far away from us as well which is good." The Raceday Stewards granted a request from M.A. Ahern, trainer of Art Of Unity, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90. Subsequently Art Of Unity was withdrawn on veterinary advice. (MG & EM)
