CAMBRIDGESHIRE ATTRACTS 109

Pulau Tioman and Duck Row share top weight of 9st 10lb for the Tote Cambridgeshire at Newmarket on September 30th, it was revealed today.

The pair are among 109 entries for the #120,000 nine-furlong handicap.

Also high in the weights is the Toby Balding-trained Bomb Alaska (9-7), who finished a neck second behind She`s Our Mare in the race last season.

Likely to be prominent in the betting for the first leg of the `Autumn Double` is the Jeremy Noseda-trained Man O`Mystery (8-13).

The three-year-old finished a close second to Sobriety in the John Smith`s Cup at York last time and could meet third-placed Nooshman in the race, who runs in the opener at York today.

Sir Mark Prescott, who sent out Quinlan Terry (1988) and Pasternak (1997) to win this prestigious contest, has two entries, Forbearing (9-7) and Triple Dash (8-4).

Other notable entries include Worthington Lincoln winner John Ferneley (9-4), Sharp Play (9-3), who landed the Bet Direct Summer Handicap at Glorious Goodwood, and Lady Angharad (8-5), who lifted the Tote Exacta Handicap at Sandown last time.
