CAUSEWAY AND KALANISI UP FOR HONOURS European stars Kalanisi and Giant`s Causeway are in the running for Eclipse Awards in honour of their efforts in the USA.The pair were both on the shortlists revealed last night for the prestigious prizes.Breeders` Cup Turf winner Kalanisi, trained by Sir Michael Stoute for The Aga Khan, is one of three nominated in the category of three-year-old and up turf male.Aidan O`Brien`s 'iron horse' Giant`s Causeway in on the short-list for three-year-old colt or gelding, along with Tiznow who beat him narrowly in the Breeders` Cup Classic at Churchill Downs last November.Khaled Abdulla`s Juddmonte Farms operation is a possible for outstanding owner and outstanding breeder.The winners in each category, plus the overall horse of the year, will be announced in a ceremony in New Orleans on January 30th.
