The 10-year-old, trained by Sussex permit-holder David Robinson, has been backed from 10-1 into half that price during the week with Cork bookmakers Cashmans for the three-mile contest. Last year`s Irish Grand National winner Commanche Court heads the weights on 11st 10lb after the expected defections today of Rince Ri and Marlborough, meaning a 10lb rise in the weights that puts Struggles Glory on 9st 11lb. Paul Nicholls has been forced to rule Storm Damage out of the contest as the gelding has failed to recover from a slight injury sustained during the week. However he will be represented by both Ad Hoc and Flaked Oats in the race. 'Storm Damage cantered this morning and he is still just a little bit sore so he will have to miss the race which is a great shame as he was going really well. 'We will probably keep him for either the Kim Muir or the William Hill at Cheltenham now. 'But I have a good replacement in Ad Hoc, who schooled really nicely at Wincanton last night and the good going will be in his favour.'
