Camelot among contenders for Arc trial Camelot is a notable contender for Aidan O'Brien in the Qatar Prix Foy at Longchamp on Sunday. Winner of three Classics last year, he finished seventh in the Arc on his final start of 2012 and has not been seen this term since disappointing at Royal Ascot in June. O'Brien also has Chamonix in the race, which is the Arc trial for the older horses. Last year's Arc second, the Japanese runner Orfevre, is set to get his European campaign rolling in this Group Two event which he won last year while 2011 Melbourne Cup winner Dunaden could represent Mikel Delzangles. Flintshire leads a possible field of 13 for the Qatar Prix Niel, one of the highlights of Arc Trials day. Andre Fabre's charge tops the ante-post market for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe after winning the Grand Prix de Paris back in July, supplementing an earlier win in a Chantilly Group Three. He is one of five possibles for Fabre with Epsom Derby fifth Ocovango, Penglai Pavilion, Vancouverite and Triple Threat all still in the running. Aidan O'Brien's Epsom winner Ruler Of The World is entered at this stage after managing to finish only fifth in the Irish Derby on his latest start. O'Brien's could also run Irish and Yorkshire Oaks second Venus De Milo in the Qatar Prix Vermeille on the card.
