Camelot handed Royal Ascot entry

Brilliant Investec Derby winner Camelot has been handed an entry in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes (sponsored by Betfair) at Ascot on July 21.

The son of Montjeu features among 37 initial entries for the contest and they are dominated by his trainer Aidan O'Brien.

The master of Ballydoyle has also engaged his other Group One winners from Epsom last weekend, St Nicholas Abbey and Was, along with the likes of Await The Dawn, Fame And Glory and Treasure Beach.

Last year's winner Nathaniel plus Aiken and Masked Marvel could all represent John Gosden while Godolphin have entered World Cup winner Monterosso.

Arc heroine Daneream and 2011 Investec Oaks winner Dancing Rain are other interesting entries along with Melbourne Cup first and second Dunaden and Red Cadeaux and the French pair Galikova and Shareta.
