Sent off 3/1 second favourite, Cape Cod won Leopardstown's finale which was the Tony Harmon Services 3-y-o Handicap over a mile and a-quarter.

Ryan Moore 's mount was in the front rank throughout along with 15/8 favourite Madbadanddangerous and repelled that one's persistent challenge in the home straight by half a length.

This completed a double for Moore and a treble in the last three races on the card for the Coolmore partners and trainer Aidan O'Brien.

“We’re delighted with him. He’s tough and Ryan gave him a good ride,” said winning trainer Aidan O’Brien.

“He’s an uncomplicated horse and you’d imagine he’ll get further. We’ll see how he comes out of it and see where we slot him in.

“We’ll see what the handicapper does with him after that.”
