Gavin Ryan’s mount was prominent throughout as she and market rival Nevermindtherain duelled for most of the mile trip. The Coolmore-owned pair settled down to fight it out in the straight and Isle Of Capri hung left going to the furlong marker when asked to dispute. The 13/8 shot then ran around when getting her head in front just inside the final furlong, causing some interference to the even-money favourite, before knuckling down late on to score by half-a-length. After a stewards enquiry the result stood. "She is a lovely filly that has improved with every run,” said the winning rider afterwards. “She was very green when she got to the front again today.
