Captain on his hols Captain Cee Bee is currently enjoying a holiday and will be saved for the big meetings in the spring. Trainer Eddie Harty has decided to skip the winter with the ten-year-old, who usually comes good once the weather improves in the latter part of the season. The J P McManus-owned gelding ran on into the summer this year, winning over hurdles at Tipperary in July before disappointing in the Galway Hurdle later that month. He had finished third in both the two-mile Champion Chases at Cheltenham and Punchestown earlier in the year. "He's fine, he's on a break and is to be aimed at a spring campaign," said Harty. "We're not going to go through the winter with him. What races he will go for we will have to see. We will look at the spring festivals and take it from there."
