Carberry & Darcy sidelined

Jockeys Paul Carberry and Mick Darcy both face a spell on the sidelines after they suffered foot fractures in falls at Clonmel on Friday evening.

Speaking on Saturday afternoon, Turf Club doctor Adrian McGoldrick said: "Paul fractured a bone in his right foot and was seen in Blanchardstown hospital earlier today.

%u201CI spoke to him and he seems in good spirits, but with these type of injuries he%u2019s likely to be out for between three to six weeks.

Mick Darcy also fractured a bone in his right foot and he%u2019s also in plaster.

"He is due to see a specialist in Waterford hospital on Wednesday, when he should learn more but you are looking at a similar period of between three and six weeks depending on the specialist%u2019s advice."
