Paul Carberry has been passed fit to ride by the racecourse medical office at Aintree ahead of today's action.

Carberry was taken for x-rays yesterday after he was unseated from Kauto Stone in the Topham Chase over the National fences.

He was given the all-clear after the x-rays but still had to pass the doctor this morning before taking up his mounts.

Carberry is due to ride Monbeg Dude in the Grand National today.

He had tweeted earlier:- "All systems go for today."

Andrew Tinkler, rides Hunt Ball in National, and Noel Fehily, rides Rocky Creek, have also been cleared after falls yesterday.
