Carlton back on track

The Queen's Carlton House is reported by connections to be back "on target" ahead of tomorrow's Epsom Derby bid.

The colt came through a morning canter and showed he had suffered no ill effects following the exercise.

The Queen's racing and bloodstock adviser John Warren yesterday evening reported "Carlton House did a really good blowout this morning. He was absolutely fine at evening stables. The horse is on target to run in the Derby."

Carlton House had recently knocked a joint during a routine canter but has now regained favouritism at 2/1 generally.
