Carsonstown aiming for Fairyhouse Carsonstown Boy is likely to bid to go one better at Fairyhouse in two weeks' time following his fine run when second to Tammys Hill in the CGA Foxhunter Chase at Cheltenham. Colin McBratney reports the 10-year-old to have taken his race at the Festival so well that he is tempted to go for the Joseph R O'Reilly Memorial Hunters Chase on April 6. "He ran a blinder and everyone was happy," said the County Down trainer. "It's a silly thing to say, but he's come out of the race in better form that when he went to Cheltenham. He's in super form. "He'll probably go for the Joseph O'Reilly Hunters Chase in Fairyhouse two weeks on Sunday."
