We had a second winning favourite of the session at Dundalk when 4/1 market-leader Hurricane Cass ran out a convincing victor of the Hen & Stag Packages At Dundalk Stadium Handicap. Suvenna pleased backers of the 'jolly' in race three, and here Wayne Lordan had to wait a little time for things to fully open up when racing just behind the speed in the straight.
When in the clear Hurricane Cass powered away from the rest in the final furlong to prevail by four lengths from Poetic Choice
"He has plenty of ability. He won well there and might like the surface. His past form has been a little disappointing," said Fozzy Stack, son of winning trainer Tommy.
