Caviar makes it 19 Connections of Black Caviar hinted at a change of gameplan after the wondermare was made to work hard for her 19th consecutive victory. The Peter Moody-trained six-year-old mare was given a fright by Hay List in the Lightning Stakes at Flemington, but eventually prevailed by a length and a quarter. Black Caviar was due to run in the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield next Saturday, but might not now been seen on a racecourse until she heads overseas. An outing on Dubai World Cup night is a possibility, while Royal Ascot remains the conditional aim. Moody said: "I could pretty much say she won't be there (Caulfield) next week. "She's probably had it too tough to butter up three weeks in a row. "I've got to sit down with the owners, but if she goes to Dubai she's probably run her last race in Australia for the prep. "He (Hay List) is a great horse but he's just unfortunate that he's in an era where he's run into a flying freak, I suppose. "She's the best horse, and we weren't going to be dictated by horses that weren't as good as her and Luke (Nolen) rode her accordingly."
