Cee Bee star attraction at Naas All eyes will be on Arkle Trophy favourite Captain Cee Bee as he bids to regain the winning thread in the BBA Ireland Ltd Opera Hat Novice Chase at Naas on Saturday. Eddie Harty's stable star made a winning return from injury at this venue back in December and looked set to take the scalp of Arkle rival Sizing Europe in a Grade One race at Christmas only to tip up at the final fence. "We walked the track on Thursday and felt it was fine so he's ready to take his chance," said Harty. "We've had a bit more rain since but it's due to stay dry now and the thinking is by the time the race comes around, it will be back to how it was when we walked it. "The form of his first run back at this track is obviously looking very good with Zaarito second and the third horse (An Cathaoir Mor) having won a Grade One since. "People have different ideas, but I think he would have won last time and we're looking forward to getting him back on track. "He seems in top nick and he'll have a reasonable test tomorrow, but hopefully he'll put in a clear round and then it's onwards and upwards." Captain Cee Bee will face four rivals with the Tom Mullins-trained Fosters Cross likely to put up most resistance. Swift Counsel, Beau Michael and Emotional Melody complete the field.
