Paul Townend and Willie Mullins returned to the winners enclosure for the first time since their Cheltenham heroics, as they claimed the William Hill Each Way Extra Challenge Series Beginners Chase with Yoradreamer

Owned and bred by Roger Brookhouse, the imposing seven-year-old was expected to take this four-runner heat, after finishing second to stable companion King Alexander when 40/1 at Gowran last month.

Returned the 13/8 favourite (drifted from evens) today and in front from the seventh, the Yorgunnabelucky chestnut went clear approaching the penultimate fence and despite a mistake at the last, he ultimately eased to a 22-length success.

The subject of late market support, Waittillitellyou (13/2 from 33s early) was best of the rest, with Great Attitude and Kevin's Pride both running below expectations.

"It was a bit of a scare at the last but he had been good up to it and I had asked him everywhere. There is a good crowd here and there was plenty of noise down the straight. He was just a bit in between on strides and was going too well," Townend explained.

"His run the last day behind King Alexander was a decent run and if he repeated anything like that I thought he'd win today.

"I'd say he'll stay going for the summer. He is a fine horse and he'll handle nice ground as well. He is versatile because he handled the ground at Gowran too, but I think he'll stay going."
