Cheltenham target for Thunder Sea Of Thunder could travel to England in search of better ground this season following a sparkling chasing debut at Clonmel on Sunday. The smart hurdler was expected to make a winning start to his career over larger obstacles, sent off the even-money favourite, but it was still difficult not to have been impressed by a largely excellent round of jumping. He is a best-priced 20-1 for next year's RSA Chase and may get plenty of practice of jumping the Cheltenham fences over the next couple of months. Trainer Charles Byrnes said: "He's come out of the race well and it was a good performance. "He jumped really well, apart from one fence, so we're happy with him. "He might not get ground like that here for a while now, so we might look to travel to England with him. "There is a race at Cheltenham in a couple of weeks and another there in November, so we'll keep an eye on things and see how we go."
