Tilly's Chilli followed-up on her recent win at Limerick, as she made all in the Roscommon Handicap.

Having got off the mark on her third handicap start at Greenmount Park, the daughter of Excelebration was sent off the 10/3 joint-favourite today.

Pushed along from the stalls, the Jessica Harrington trained bay soon led. She was ridden with over two furlongs to race, and kept on gamely to fend off all challengers, going on to score by two and three parts of a length. Remember The Days who was the other joint-favourite, came with his challenge from the furlong pole, but he couldn't get by the winner, and had to settle for second under Donnacha O'Brien for his brother Joseph. Noble Intention (5/1) completed the places another two and three parts of a length back in third under Colin Keane for Ger Lyons.

Colm O'Donoghue said afterwards: "She stays well and is tough and game. There were a number of horses stepping up in trip but I knew she stayed well and wanted to make use of it."

STEWARDS REPORT

C.T. Keane, rider of Noble Intention, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount leaned in of his own accord onto the rails past the stands and dislodged some uprights in doing so.

C.D. Hayes, rider of You Will Do For Me (USA), trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was a big colt who was unable to handle the track.
