Chineur Ready For York Return French sprinting star Chineur was today confirmed on course for the VC Bet Nunthorpe Stakes at York on Thursday week. The Mikel Delzangles-trained colt has won his last four starts, including the King´s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot at York on his most recent outing. On that occasion, Chineur overcame a slow start to comfortably defeat Boogie Street by a length and three-quarters in the hands of Christophe Lemaire. The four-year-old has enjoyed a break since then but his Chantilly-based trainer now reports him in good order for his Group One test back on the Knavesmire.'He´s definitely going to come over for the Nunthorpe and he should arrive on the Wednesday morning,' Delzangles said.'He has had a little bit of a rest and everything seems to be OK now.'He has been working nicely every week and there is no problem at all.'His preparation has been very good and he should be very well for the Nunthorpe.'If he is as well as he was for Royal Ascot - he was brilliant - he should be alright.'Lemaire will ride again.'Chineur has won on conditions ranging from heavy to good to firm, but Delzangles added: 'I don´t think he would like very firm ground because he´s not very fast at the start but otherwise I don´t think it matters.'William Hill and the sponsors make Chineur their 4-1 favourite for the Nunthorpe while Paddy Power and Ladbrokes go 7-2 about his chances of making it five wins on the bounce. ?
