Cirrus and Toormore in at Longchamp Cirrus Des Aigles is one of just seven horses left in the Prix d'Ispahan following the first forfeit stage for the Longchamp contest on Sunday. Corine Barande-Barbe's evergreen nine-year-old took this Group One prize 12 months ago and showed he was as good as ever when beating Al Kazeem on his seasonal reappearance in the Prix Ganay earlier this month. The Roger Charlton-trained Al Kazeem remains in the list, but is set to go for the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh the same day instead. Toormore, from the Richard Hannon stable, is the other British-trained entry. He finished runner-up to stable companion Night Of Thunder in the Lockinge Stakes last Saturday. Freddy Head's Solow, who beat The Grey Gatsby convincingly in the Dubai Turf at Meydan in March, stands his ground while Pollyana, Gailo Chop and Sparkling Beam complete the septet.
