Clemmie faces 12 rivals in Cheveley Park Aidan O'Brien relies solely on Clemmie to give him back-to-back victories in the Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday. The full-sister to dual Guineas hero Churchill will face 12 rivals in the Group One test over six furlongs as she seeks to supplement Brave Anna's success of 12 months ago. She was last in competitive action when landing the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket in July, although she was a late absentee from the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh earlier this month because of unsuitable ground. That race was won by her stablemate Happily, who was one of the three withdrawals at the 48-hour final declaration stage, along with O'Brien's third five-day entry Butterscotch and Take Me With You from Jeremy Noseda's stable. The Newmarket trainer is represented by Betty F, winner of her only start. Others in a classy field include Lowther scorer Threading, Flying Childers and Queen Mary winner Heartache and French raider Different League, who took the Albany at Royal Ascot. Joseph O'Brien's Now You're Talking and Ger Lyons' Treasuring boosts the Irish challenge, while Dean Ivory's supplementary entry Eirene takes her chance. Completing the line-up are Chica La Habana, Crossing The Line, Darkanna, Madeline and Special Purpose.
