Clipper Logistics Flat string shaping nicely Ballyhane Stud boss and Clipper Logistics Group racing manager Joe Foley is eagerly looking forward to the turf Flat campaign with Naas set to get proceedings underway on Sunday. Fresh from supervising the Clipper Logistics horses, Castlegrace Paddy and Runrized at Cheltenham, Foley stated: "The jumps racing is lovely but when you get to this time of the year all the Flat horses are starting to line up. "Predominantly the string is in Britain — 90 percent of them are over there but there are ten or twelve in Ireland. "Invasion Day (88-rated) is in at Dundalk on Friday night. He's a nice horse and he looked progressive last year. "However, he turned out to be regressive. Ger (Lyons) reports now though that after being gelded, he's grown up and matured a good bit. "We have a few nice ones with Ger — some nice three-year-olds and a couple of nice two-year-olds again. "We have some others around the country as well. At this time of year the dream is alive — the two-year-olds are all rockets and the three-year-olds are all going to be Stakes winners!" Another of the Steve Parkin Clipper Logistics horses housed at Ger Lyons' Glenburnie Stables is Army Recruit. This Zoffany gelding has been given an entry in Sunday's Naas Business Club Madrid Handicap.
