Sizing Europe could head to Clonmel next month after trainer Henry de Bromhead gave the star veteran a clean bill of health on Sunday morning.

The 12-year-old gelding rolled back the years at Gowran on Saturday to claim the PWC Champion Chase for a fourth year running with a head defeat of Road To Riches.

He now has the Grade Two Clonmel Oil Chase, a race he won two years ago, as a possible next port of call on November 13.

De Bromhead said: "He seems fine after the race, no problems.

"It was good performance and a great first run back - he showed a lot of heart.

"We'll see how everything unfolds in the next fortnight, but that (Clonmel Oil Chase) is a possibility."
