Clonmel and Naas are both currently unraceable ahead of scheduled meetings on Thursday and Friday respectively as the cold snap continues to take a hold on the country.

Following three nights of frost with temperatures as low as -3C, parts of the track at Clonmel are frozen. The ground is described as soft to heavy where raceable.

Temperatures are forecast to drop to -2C tonight with daytime temperatures to rise tomorrow up to around +6C.

There is the possibility of rain tomorrow and sleet/snow Wednesday into Thursday (1-3mm in total).

The Naas meeting cancelled yesterday and featuring the Grade 1 Ballymore Novice Hurdle, has been rescheduled for Friday.

The temperature at the County Kildare track was -3C this morning but is due to rise gradually over the coming days.
