Clonmel is currently unfit for racing due to waterlogging, ahead of Thursday’s meeting at the County Tipperary venue.

The course has been hit with 42mm of rain since entries, and parts of the track are waterlogged and were found to be unfit for racing this morning.

Where fit for racing, the ground is heavy.

There is the possibility of a further 5-7mm of rain prior to racing and the situation is being monitored by officials.

The seven-race card at Clonmel features the Grade 3 Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle which has been won in the past by the likes of Allaho and Monty’s Star.
