Codd returns on Wednesday

Amateur jockey Jamie Codd makes his return to race-riding at Killarney on Wednesday, having suffered a heavy fall at the Punchestown Festival in April.

Codd is set to partner newcomer Under The Radar for trainer Mark Loughnane in the concluding bumper at Killarney tomorrow, having been out of action since a heavy fall from Not To Pushed in the Ladies Cup at Punchestown on April 20.

Codd today stated "I lacerated my liver and damaged one of my lungs in the fall and couldn't do much for the first two months following the fall. The next month was also spent doing little but I've been back riding out now for a month or so and am fit and ready to go."
