Conor returns on the Flat Cheltenham Festival winner Our Conor has a pipe-opener on the Flat ahead of his return to the jumping scene when he lines up in the Woodlands 100 Club October Handicap at Naas on Sunday. Connections of the brilliant Triumph Hurdle winner are just hoping the four-year-old can do himself justice in this competitive Premier Handicap over a mile and a half. "He's fit and well. If he runs a good race I'll be happy," said trainer Dessie Hughes. "He wouldn't have to win it, jumping is his game but he's in terrific form." Stony Grey is on a hat-trick, adding to last month's Listowel win at Navan recently. "He came out of the race well last week. The ground doesn't matter to him and provided all is well he will run," said trainer Andrew Oliver. Dermot Weld saddles Show Court and Wandering Star and believes the former may have the better chance in the prevailing conditions. "It is a very good renewal of the race. Show Court has been very consistent all year, and hopefully he'll run another good race," said Weld. "Wandering Star has won twice from her three starts, but I would be very concerned about the ground for her. She has only run on good to firm ground and it is debatable whether she would handle heavy ground." Ger Lyons is hoping for the best from Safe Home. "He is well and hopefully he will run a nice race," he said.
